At Caradon Stone, we offer flexible and reliable delivery options tailored to suit your location and requirements. We deliver nationwide using our trusted transport partners to ensure your order arrives safely and efficiently.
For those in Cornwall and rural areas, we utilise small tipper lorries perfect for navigating narrow country lanes. Locally, the fleet also includes large tippers, small and large HIAB lorries, and flatbeds to accommodate a variety of load sizes and access needs.
For deliveries further afield, we operate through the nationwide pallet network, using articulated lorries to transport bulk or palletised orders across the UK and beyond.
We also offer special delivery services such as next-day delivery, weekend delivery, and timed delivery slots through the pallet network for your convenience.

HIAB Lorry
What is a Hiab?
A Hiab is a lorry equipped with a built-in crane, ideal for delivering and unloading heavy items such as pallets and bulk bags. It can even lift bags over small walls or fences, making it perfect for tricky access areas.
Types of Hiabs Available
We offer different sizes of Hiabs to suit various delivery needs. Here's a quick guide:
Small 4-Wheeler Hiab

Standard 4-Wheeler Hiab

Flatbed Lorry
Flat‑Bed Lorries
Flat‑bed lorries have no self‑offloading equipment and will require a forklift or suitable machinery on site to unload. These lorry types are best for sites with main road access. We operate two types of flat‑bed lorries:

6‑wheeler Flat‑Bed – Capacity of up to 16 tonnes

Flat‑Bed with Trailer – Capacity of up to 28 tonnes
This type of lorry is perfect for longer distant deliveries as larger loads can be transported further afield. For a bespoke transport price, get in touch with the team, who can advise on which lorry is most suitable and cost effective for your site.
Tipper Lorry
Pallet Network
For smaller orders, including bagged stone and crates of stone, we offer delivery through a pallet network service. This is a cost-effective option for transporting goods nationwide to both residential and commercial addresses.
Each delivery is charged per pallet space, with the cost determined by your postcode area. The total delivery charge depends on how many pallets your order will require.
Pallet Specifications:

This service is suitable for:

Crates of stone (e.g., paving, walling stone, or features)
Deliveries are made using a tail lift and manual pallet truck, so please ensure the drop-off location is on flat, solid ground (such as tarmac or concrete). Delivery to gravel, uneven surfaces, or steep inclines may not be possible.
